Perched on the top floor of our historic village house in Gavinana, il Loft offers one of the most stunning views in the Pistoiese Apennines. From the living room windows you look directly out over the valley and surrounding mountains – the kind of view that stops you mid-coffee.

The apartment is spread over two levels. The main floor holds the heart of the home: a spacious, light-filled living room with exposed wooden ceiling beams, a dining area and a comfortable sitting corner. Adjacent to it you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, espresso machine and a small breakfast table – everything you need for long, unhurried mornings. A second bedroom on this floor features a queen-size bed and a characterful golden fireplace, ideal for cooler evenings in the mountains.

A staircase in the living room leads up to the open mezzanine. Here, under a beautifully crafted roof of raw timber beams and pine planks, you'll find a cosy queen bedroom – atmospheric and quiet. Beyond a curtain, a connected second space offers a 140 cm bed, ideal as a children's room or for a third guest. The apartment has two bathrooms: one on the main floor with shower, modern vanity and bidet; one on the upper level featuring a bathtub with handheld shower, white tiles with blue floral detail and a warm wooden-beamed ceiling.

Gavinana is a small, authentic mountain village – quiet, unhurried and genuinely beautiful. The house is one street below the village piazza, steps from the bar, the shops and Alimentari Petrucci. It's an ideal base for hiking, cycling and exploring the Pistoiese Apennines, with the thermal baths of Montecatini and the art cities of Pistoia and Florence just a short drive away. il Loft is for guests who want something real: not a hotel room, but a home with history, views and soul.
